Subject
CRD Integrated Water Development Cost Charge Review 2016
Background
The Capital Regional District Integrated Water Services division is undertaking a review of their Development Cost Charge program and associated bylaws. The City of Langford has been part of that review process and has provided information on projected projects that should be included in that program.
Commentary
Water Pump Station 6 (McCallum Road Pump Station) has been planned for several years now and was pre-serviced with hydro electric power and water supply mains during completion of the Leigh Road Interchange McCallum Road project area in 2013.
Work has advanced since 2013 and the City will be completing the Bear Mountain Parkway extension in 2016. The Bear Mountain Parkway extension includes watermain supply to lands on South Skirt and Bear Mountain development areas. Therefore Water Pump Station 6 (McCallum Road Pump Station) will be constructed immediately with design works already underway and construction tendering is imminent.
Financial Implications

Legal Implications
